Children learn first from their parents

Research has shown that the parents’ levels of literacy and education are the most important factors in their children’s school readiness, reading levels and other school achievements

Connections provides upgrading for parents and caregivers to improve their own literacy, numeracy and other basic skills, so that they can in turn help their children to succeed. We have resources and classes of particular interest to parents including:
